Coach Mel

“I believe Jiu Jitsu can be adapted and made effective by anyone regardless of size or gender.”

Mel has been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for just under 5 years.  She started her training under Jack McVicker and currently trains under Jeff Serafin.  She has won or medaled in a myriad of tournaments including IBJJF Opens, Tap Cancer Out, Grappling Industries, and more.  Her goal is to provide a welcoming atmosphere where people can learn good technique and enjoy Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as a positive force that benefits every pursuit on and off of the mat.
